Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In San Francisco, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Francisco is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This place is located within Japan town. Parking is tough in the area. The place is not that big, but clean. There are Japanese decorations. Ramen noodle are small soft type . The soup is thick, deep favor. They also have kids menu.

Worth the wait time! We tried the pork bao bun, tonkatsu ramen, and the spicy tantan men. Everything was great! I especially loved the spicy tartan men, the broth was complex and the chicken added just the right hint of spice. We waited around 30 minutes for a table for 2 around 8pm. We added our name to the waitlist and they texted us once our table was ready, which is nice because we could walk around the mall while we waited. Once seated, our server took our order (which we were ready for since we waited), and the food came out so fast.

Ramen bowl with pork belly. Very hearty, delicious ingredients. Asked for medium spicy, it wasn't spicy at all. The whole soft boiled egg in the soup was amazing. Overall the soup was excellent except for not being spicy when it was supposed to be medium spicy. The chicken karaage was good not great. Really good quality chicken meat, the coating could definitely be better. The dipping sauce with lemon was very good. So stuffed I couldn't finish my soup. Service was very good. Great place for a date night. I recommend this business

Came here during lunch rush hour on a Sunday. Jumped on the wait-list upon arrival and was seated in 20 mins (well worth the wait). Super easy to kill time while walking around the mall. Service was quick & server was kind. Noodles and broth were perfection. Broth was rich and creamy. Also had the Sakura sparkling lemonade - highly recommend. My ramen came with a whole egg - perfectly jammy inside.

Marufuku Ramen SF absolutely delivers! The tonkotsu broth is rich and silky, the noodles have that perfect bite, and the chashu melts in your mouth. Even when the place is busy, the staff is friendly and efficient, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The karaage chicken is a mustβorder side, and portions are generous enough to leave you satisfied but wanting to come back. Easily one of the better ramen spots in San Francisco!
